First electrical car of Maruti

The first electric car for Maruti Suzuki's Indian market will be named WagonR EV. This car maker had recently unveiled the car. Initially, 50 units of this WagonR EV will be launched on Indian roads and security training will be done in different ways. Later this car will be officially launched in April 2020. If the sources say the price of this car will be very low. But still the price of this car will be almost double the price of a traditional WagonR. That's because the price of the battery is still quite high. All car makers are confident that there will not be much sales of electric cars in India and therefore they are also unable to reduce the price by wanting.

This WagonR EV will be based on the sixth generation of cars present in this series, which is currently available in the Japanese market. The petrol version of this sixth generation car will be launched in India next year. Like the petrol version, electric version will also have ABS (anti-lock braking system) and it will be made keeping in view the environmental rules of the Indian government.

As you know, Suzuki and Toyota will now share the technology with each new agreement, and this will definitely benefit WagonR EV. The lithium-ion battery used in this car will be manufactured in a new battery factory made by Denso in the company's venture in Sanand in Gujarat.

This lithium-ion battery will greatly reduce its price in the production market in India. Along with that, the Indian government will also provide financial support for these two companies to make such batteries under their Fame-3 (Faster Adoption and Manufacture of Electric Vehicles) scheme. Due to all these reasons, the price of WagonR EV is expected to be significantly lower. Let's look at the price at which car this Maruti descends into the market.

If the mileage of this car falls below 100 kilometers then it will be a major drawback. In this situation, this car will be left for use only inside the city. It is to see how Maruti can overcome this challenge. If the car can run 200 kilometers in a charge, then it is possible that it will compete with conventional diesel and petrol cars and give it to those interested in buying a hatchback.
