Cable Selection Chart for Induction Motors (3-Phase, 415V, 50Hz)
When selecting cables for induction motors, it is important to match the motor
rating (kW) with the correct cable size to ensure
safety, efficiency, and compliance with standards.
The following table provides the recommended copper cable sizes
for motors at 415V, 50Hz supply frequency.
(For aluminium cables, increase the size by 1.5 times
that of copper cables.)
