Maintenance of Window and Split air conditioners

Now days due to global pandemic there are people maintaining social distance from other people and people are carrying work at home. They are improving their skills by doing so they are reducing their cost of living as they are only using essential services for their living. They are carrying out following works at their own:-

(i)                  They are not using services of maids for routine cleaning works at their home

(ii)                They are cutting their hair at home only no need of barber these days.

(iii)               They are making eatable foods which are usually take from outside at their home, which makes the food healthier with same taste and contents.

(iv)              They are exploring their hobbies and generating taste in new hobbies

Now due to summer there is requirement of maintenance of air conditioners which are we usually take with the help of Air conditioners experts or by taking help of electricians as we thought that this work is of experts. But take my words maintenance of air conditioners is as simple as of cutting of your hairs.

There are following ways of carrying out maintenance of air conditioners:-

(i)                 Window Air conditioners:-

As clear from its name these air conditioners are the air conditioners which are installed in windows of houses and their maintenance is quite simple. We have to simply remove all the connections and we have to remove the air conditioner from its outer cover and air conditioner will look like as below:-

Now cover the compressor unit with polythene or by any-other means so that water doesn’t enter the compressor. Now prepare a liquid with the help of shampoo or surf and clean all the parts using that liquid and after applying foam on all parts clean it with water. After cleaning it with water keep the Air conditioner for drying up for few minutes and after drying the air conditioner same has to be re-installed in its cover and re-connect all the wire, make sure that connections are dried up. After all process you can immediately start the air conditioner which is ready for use without any complications.

(ii)               Split air conditioner:-

In these air conditioners there is no need of removing the internal unit and outside unit. In that air conditioner outside unit are installed out of room so maintenance is required to be carried out for outside unit. The process is same cover the compressor unit and clean it with same material.
