Following are not covered under car insurance:-

1.   Vehicle Regular wear and tear:-

Your car will get aged over the period of time so there is requirement of carrying out day to day maintenance of vehicle. Parts used during that maintenance will not be covered under the insurance policy.

2.   When you are driving your vehicle without mandatory documents which are required as per applicable law such as PUC (Pollution under control) document, Driving licence, Vehicle RC and you met with an accident then claim will be rejected.

3.   Don’t use personal car for commercial activities as in that case insurance claim will be get rejected.

4.   If you carry out modifications in the vehicle after taking insurance, then insurance claim will be rejected.

5.   Traffic rules violations:-

If you are not obeying traffic laws and disobeying the road safety rules such as not following traffic lights, Drunk and drive, rash driving etc. then your claim will be get rejected.

6.   Vehicle insurance don’t cover your personal belongings which if get stolen along with your vehicle.

7.   If you are driving someone else vehicle and any accident happened then claim will be rejected.
