Rajasthan Government Chiranjivi Health Insurance Plan and its features:-

In this article, we will discuss about the health insurance plan launched by Rajasthan government for its residents. Which is quite beneficial for everyone. We will discuss about the features and benefits of this insurance plan, which is completely free plan or came up nominal annual charges.

 

i.              All Rajasthan families are eligible for a cashless insurance benefit of Rs. 10 lakh.

ii.             Participants in the 2011 Socio Economic Census are exempt from registering for the National Food Security Act. The state government will bear the cost for the insurance premium.

iii.            Self-registration or third party registration on e-mitra is available to all eligible beneficiaries, including small and marginal farmers, contract employees, and others. The state government will pay for the insurance premium.

iv.            Other households will be required to pay an annual premium of Rs.850.

v.             In order to apply, you will need either your Jan Aadhar Number or your Aadhar Registration Receipt. If you do not already have an Aadhar card, you must first enrol in the program.

The plan's benefits will become available on May 1st, 2021.



Registration procedure for the Chief Minister's Chiranjeevi Yojana

a.     First, you'll need to make an SSO ID in order to enrol in the scheme digitally. Following the sso.rajasthan.gov.in website link will get you there.

b.     To register yourself in the scheme, click on Online Registration and login using your SSO ID.

c.     You have two choices here, To begin with, it's free, paid plan. Depending on the group you fall into, one of the two choices below is available to you.

d.     Navigate to the "Free" section and select "small and marginal farmers" (SMF) of the state, "contract employees" (Contractual), and "desperate and helpless families" (Covid 19 ex Gratia) to see who has received the state's ex gratia payment.

e.     You run a search by entering either your Aadhar number or the number on your Aadhar registration receipt.

f.      The names of all family members will be displayed in the programme, and an OTP will be sent to the mobile number listed on the Aadhar card if an electronic signature is required. This OTP must be entered into the application and digitally signed. After that, enter your information as appropriate for the selected group. The policy sheet can then be printed out.

g.     When you click "Send" on the Paid Category Family Application, the programme will direct you to a secure payment page where you may submit the required premium payment of Rs.850. Once the premium has been paid, a copy of the policy can be printed.

 

Following categories are unable to participate in the plan for the following reasons:

Government workers in Rajasthan have been excluded from this programme by the Gehlot government. Chief Minister Chiranjeevi's Health Insurance Scheme is not available to government employees. State officials are working on rolling out the Rajasthan Government Health Scheme (RGHS), which will provide people with cashless insurance similar to the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS).

 

What kinds of illnesses will be covered under this plan?

The Chiranjeevi Yojana covers 1576 different ailments. In order to participate in this scheme, eligible households will need to pay a yearly premium of at least Rs.850. This policy covers medical costs incurred up to 15 days after a patient is released from the hospital, including those incurred up to five days prior to admission. Those who are already covered by the Mahatma Gandhi Ayushman Bharat Health Insurance Scheme do not have to sign up again.
