Chintapurni
Temple
Mata Chintapurni Temple is situated
in Una District in Himachal Pradesh and is also known as Shaktipeeth. It is
about 400 KM from Delhi. In Chintapurni lot of wishes get fulfilled. If you
have some wishes then just wish from Mata Chintapurni and your wish get fulfilled.
I am none other than from not making wishes. Whenever I see I needed help from
God I pray to Mata Chintapurni and my fulfilled.
I will share how you will get there and various temples and
other placed which you can visit on the way to Chintapurni Temple.
Best Days to Visit:- Best days are always during Navratari where there is
huge crowd visit over there for seeking blessing of Mata Chintapurni. Crowd is such
that you have to park your car near bus stand and you have to walk all the way
to temple for about 4-5 Km’s and there will you see line of 2-3 KM’s long for
Darshan in Temple. During that days you will see that there will be lot of
langars where food and various eatable items such as Halwa Poori, Channe Puri,
Dry Fruits, Fruit chat, Juices and
everything veg you want to eat for free.
Temple is decorated with flowers,
lights, and fruits and you feel that you have reached heavenly place on earth.
During aarti time you will seek blessings of Mata Chintapurni and Infact you
will forget all tensions when you get involved in Aarti over there.
There you will see lot of people
chanting mata bhajans and Most of people are coming from Punjab and Himachal
over there.
Advice for visit:- Always try to visit during working days as during that days you find very people visiting the temple and you will get blessings after Darshan quite comfortably. Now days during my recent visit to Maa Chintapurni on 20.04.2024 we found huge unmanaged crowd as we visited on Saturday. There was totally disarray in terms of managing the crowd. There were much chances of stampede and their management is keeping their closed until some incident get happened.
There should be proper queues till stairs so that people can easily and comfortably get the darshan of Maa.
Places to See:- When you drove from Hoshairpur to Chintapurni Temple
then there are so many places you can visit on your way. I will mention few of
them:-
(i)
Shiv Bari- Shiv Bari
is Situated in Gagret, UNA, Himachal and it is very lot temple in that region
and it is surrounded by lot of trees and almost feel like a temple in forest.
This temple is about 5000 years old. This temple is also known as Drona Shiv
Mandir. You must visit this temple if you are really want to see old temples of
India.
(ii)
Bombay
Picnic Sport- This place is very famous among kids and there are rides
for kids, boating and various other activities you can do for enjoying while
taking a break over there. Food is also available over there but quality of
food has been reduced in past years considerably. But this is the space you can
spend about 2-3 hours.

Hotels and Dharamshala for staying over there
There are
so many hotels and Dharamshala over there where you can stay for as much days
as you want. Dharamshala usually charge around 100-500/- per day for 1 room depending
upon the room you choose. Infact Dharamshala are not less than Hotels they will provide attached washroom facility ,Hot
and cold water, Bedding as per your requirement. However prices may vary accordingly.
There are
so many affordable hotels over there ranging from 1000/- per day for 1 room for
3 people to 5000/- per day for 3 people. However these prices shootup during
Peak time Navratari time. But I personally recommend to not to book through
online app as these shows very steep prices and fewer rooms, infact after
visiting at this place you can book by own by visiting at Hotel or may book by
directly calling at Hotels reception and they will offer you discount for the
same.
There are
so many hotels near temple also which you can easily search through Google.
If are
going by car then you can call at the Hotel reception and book the hotel and don’t
forget to telling them I have car and pass it from security as they will not
allow to enter the car after 4-5 Km’s from temple. Hotels persons are remains
standing over there if you have a booking in hotel then they will allow you to
enter that area by car.
We usually
stay at Lalita Hotel, Hotel Abhi, Hotel Jai Maa, Hotel Maya ji. You can easily
find these hotels contact numbers on Google.
Eatouts:-
There are so
many eating outlets over there. So you can get best food over there infact
there is one hotel near Temple itself which doesn’t seems to good one from
outside but food over there is good with very reasonable prices. But if you go
for shopping for buying something then I will recommend to go to near Ludhiana
Dharmshala for food as there are good food outlets near that Dharamshala.
