Bowlers who never Bowled a No Ball in their Career

 

You will be surprised to find that in cricket history there are players who never ever bowled a No ball their whole career. There are few cricket legends:-

1. Lance Gibbs (WEST INDIES)

He is a West Indies’ player and he has played 79 Tests and 3 ODIs. However, he has never bowled a no ball in those matches. He took 309 wickets in test cricket and more surprisingly economy rate was below two runs per over. He played international cricket from 1958-1976.

2. Kapil Dev (INDIA)

He is India's best all-rounder. Kapil Dev played 131 Tests and 225 one-day matches. Under his captaincy, India even won the ODI cricket world cup in 1983. He played International cricket from year 1978-1994. He was named as wisdom cricketer of the century in year 2002. Apart from bowling, he was excellent striker of the ball and known for hard hitting.  He took 434 wickets in test matches and 253 wickets in ODIs and he scored 5248 runs in test matches and 3783 runs in ODIs.

Indian greatest batsman Sunil Gavaskar once mentioned that he is the bowler who even bowl a no ball even during practice seasons.



3. Ian Botham (ENGLAND)

He was also Best all-rounder for England. He played cricket from year 1976-1992. He played 102 test matches and 116 one-day international matches. He was also talented footballer, even in football league for Club Scunthorpe, and played 11 matches. He took 383 wickets in test matches and 145 wickets in ODIs and scored 5200 runs in test matches and 2113 runs in ODIs.

4. Imran Khan (PAKISTAN)

He was one of the best bowlers of the world, he played 88 test matched and 175 one-day international matches, and he played from year 1971 to 1992. Apart from bowling, he was also good batsman. He took 362 wickets in test matches and 182 wickets in ODIs. He scored 3807 runs in test matches and 3709 runs in ODIs.

5. Dennis Lillee (AUSTRALIA)

He was greatest Australian bowler. He played 70 test matches and 63 ODIs. He played for Australia from 1971 to 1984 and he took 355 wickets in test matches and 103 wickets in ODIs.
